Friendly staff & a good pint. Busy on Saturday afternoons when Barnsley FC are at home
Stayed over on my last night in Barnsley, man who runs the place is very friendly and down to earth. Typical pub has pool table and jukebox , football matches on . As for the b n b , I actually wish i had stayed here the other few nights , for a pub very quiet room was clean and fresh decoration. Parking round the back and the park behind the place is amazing should you have a dog. b an b is also dog friendly , nice soft pillows too I must add as previous place i stayed I'm sure had bricks in the pillow slips :) hope to stay again in the future
Only came here for one BUT it was great! Dog friendly so we took dexter for a walk then popped right in for one after. Kid friendly and he even put fireman sam on for the little one!
My Eldest an I called in yesterday before match , new owners so didn't know what to expect. Got to say fabulous service , fantastic atmosphere. The management /staff are friendly and welcoming . Will now visit more and not just match days .
