Ended up all over this hospital...NOT good! A&E- AmazingThese people are totally committed to caring for people and it shows. Family members shown compassion, respect and curtesy, which is a basic human need when dealing with such stressful and upsetting circumstances. Ward 21 Some staff (not all) should not be in the job. Poor attitude towards patients and their family. Totally unprofessional. Had to sleep on the floor next to my family member I as their werent enough staff on shifts to safeguard and keep them alive. Found tablets on the floor that they should have taken. Mainly bothered about bed management and shifting problematic patients who become a burden. Ward 19 Elderly CareSame again here. Badly negleted by nurses and overdosed by a doctor! If you dont die from your illness a doctor might help you along.Dont be bullied. Protect your loved ones and hold them close for as long as you can! X
Had a stay at the hospital ward 18 .Wot can I say fantastic all the staff. Could not do enough for me some people will say that's wot they get paid for yes true .but I just think that to much negative gives the hospital a bad name they do the best they can and more thanks for everything x
Fantastic hospital, very systematic. People are friendly and helpful. They try to get you signposted if you are not not in the right place. Appointments are often not long and doctors are often genuinely interested in solving your problems rather than giving prescription as short cut. Nurses in the ward care about the elderly patients in a sympathetic way. The car parking is not atrocious.
Following on from my review in October I attended the hospital again yesterday for my second eye lens implant . May I say yet again a massive thank you to all the nurses and staff for looking after me brilliantly and thank you to Miss Firan for doing the lens. A five star rating for a top hospital
My husband has just spent a week on Ward 34 and the care has been excellent. The nursing, medical and physio staff have been outstanding in the treatment that they have delivered. Ancillary services are superb too, the ward is spotlessly clean and the catering service is very much improved from his last stay a few years ago.Keep up the good work of the NHS. Heartfelt thanks.
