Was asked by Christine or Caroline on reception "where are you getting your inhailors from then?" accusing me of obtaining prescription medications illegally or not using it correctly all because I rang up for a repeat prescription which was obtained in January. I had to explain the use of my own medication and the amounts I already had before this prescription to satisfy her to say it will be ready Friday. The way this practice is now run is discusting! My wife needed an urgent appointment almost a week ago and was told none left for the day, took her SOBBING down the phone before the receptionist would get a doctor to call back and he was great and made us the appointment. The staff on reception speak to patients discusting! They are not doctors they are not trained medical professionals and have absolutely no right to question or accuse a patient about their medication! Whoever is in charge should be ashamed how this practice is run now expecially the seriously unprofessional receptionists, I wonder how many mentally vulnerable people have been spoken to the way I was!

i have been a patient with this doctors for approximately 20 years and in that time i don't think i have ever even had my blood pressure/ temperature taken.I have however had plenty of bloods taken (if i didn't know better i would swear it's there way of conducting a blood drive) this seems to be the doctors go to method of i don't know lets look like we are doing something.to see a doctor you have to wait weeks and give out personal medical information to a receptionist (which i'm pretty sure breaks patient confidentiality)and a doctor will call you back to arrange an appointment (how back to front is that and in his own good time)i due to my doctors diligent care i have had to suffer 20 years of being housebound and without social contact.(my only outings are to the dentist).due to my breath being so pungent that anyone who spends more than a few minutes with me is guaranteed to vomit (my dentist has on numerous occasions suggested i visit my doctor to get it sorted)i i did (many times) on my last visit i was literally laughed at and humiliated so badly that i swore i would never set foot in the surgery again!!.the doctor did take a swab (no further treatment )and give me an address to a psychotherapist (great going to go there immediately for further humiliation sarcasm ).he humiliated me so badly that i can swear on the lives of my children that i thought he was going to get up leave the room and come back with a toothbrush(Dr Alexander Gibbins who is supposed to know there are many causes for this condition).now i have have a persistent coughing fits that make me vomit and suffering a menstrual cycle that is giving me pain making me feel dizzy light headed tired and weak which would be fine if i had not finished with the menopause 9 years ago.

Absolutely terrible service The idea of ringing to get an appointment should be straight forward but not here you speak to receptionist who cannot give you an appointment the doctor has to ring you at sometime but if youre working you may not be able to answer the phone or in my case i work in my customers homes i can answer the phone but do not wish to discuss my medical symptoms in front of my customers.I have now decided to leave this practice as is just for people who nothing better to do than make up new rules. As a tax payer i think it is my right to ring make a suitable appointment it should be straight forward but not here i am fuming as i may only visit the doctors once every couple of years.I have rang the NHS complaint line and they agreed with me.If you are looking to change doctors dont enen consider this practice.

You cannot just ring up and make an appointment anymore. You have to ring up to describe your problem with a receptionist who will then get a doctor to call you back at some point. Me and my wife both work full time so cannot just wait around for a call back which last time took 2-3 hours. I can only book a doctor's appointment on my day off now restricting me to 1 or 2 days a week. Terrible system for people in work who cannot answer the phone anytime.

If i could give you 0 stars i would your a joke a complete joke infact you couldnt run a piss up in a brewery.... your staffs unprofessional your not helpfull at all and to top it off you cant even do your jobs correctly... all your surgery is is a joke.... avoid this clown fest at all costs
