Diminutive single platform halt with disused signal box and abandoned level crossing at one end. No staff onsite and trains generally only run once an hour in either direction, though there is an extra service towards Sheffield at the teatime every day except Sunday. However if you have to travel on the Sabbeth you could be in for a very long wait of over 2 hours. There is an adjoining car park, but in keeping with the size of the station this literally has the capacity for only a handful of vehicles.
