A lovely park, very pretty. Shame about vandalism but things are repaired / redecorated quickly
Decent play ground, has all the usual park features, plus a skate park and sports cage, best free park in Wombwell. It is all well kept
Used to play here as a child but sadly the band stand, bowling green and tennis courts are all gone along with the beautiful flower beds and rose borders
Enjoyed walk with dog , but park littered with empty beer cans and cider bottles. Needs policing better but really up to individuals to treat it better. Shame, it used to be a place people respected and was well used and looked after .
It's a pretty good park to take the children for a quick play session in Wombwell. It definitely has more potential though in terms of cleanliness, equipment and aesthetics. Would still recommend if you live in the area and are on a lookout for a place to read a book whilst the kids are playing.
