What a beautiful open space, we walked our dog around locke Park and discovered the old victorian band stand and locke tower, after our walk we called at the park cafe which we were surprised at how comfortable and friendly it was and the coffee and pannini we had was well tasty, they even had a menu for dogs we will be doing our walks here again, brilliant place

Has a big park for kids to play in, a cafe, good for walking your dog.
Autumn colours are very good in the park. It is well maintained with plenty of things to see and do. Car parking is available some spectacular large trees now showing hues of yellow, red and gold.
This is a lovely park with plenty of walks in short circuits so you can go as little or far as you like. The playground is pretty standard, swings, slides, sandpit etc which is enough to keep the kids happy. The new cafe by the playground sells absolutely delicious ice cream!
