I dont know whats happened to this place recently it used to be my favourite Chinese takeaway in the area but the last 3 meals Ive ordered from there have been quite poor. I tend to order noodle based dishes but for some reason of late they come packed with beansprouts and hardly any noodles ! Tonight to out fox them l ordered a portion of plain soft noodles expecting to get just that .... nope again packed to the gunnels with beansprouts ! Ive given up now and will take my business elsewhere, shame it used to be so good
Not so wonderful Garlic and chillie main (chef's recommendation) had very little dry deep fried crispy pieces of meat in on a mountain of onions with an awful dried chilli and garlic seasoning (dry dish).Mixed appetiser for one was of poor quality dry and very small.Mushroom curry was nice.Chips where nice.The young lady answering the phone was ever so polite and very helpful (can not fault her).The older lady (the manager) aka the Chinese lady was hard to communicate with and I had the feeling she thought I was trying to pull a fast one by taking the dish back to the shop to complain.Its a shame as I have had a few from here in the past and enjoyed them however as she didn't deal with my complaint in the correct way (all I wanted was a beef in black bean to fill my Belly) I shall not be returning.
