Really nice food served quickly. Good kids menu. Vegan options for food and drink. Lovely decor.
The ordinary staff seemed really pleased to see us, but what looked like the (quite handsome) owner didnt smile at all when I gave him eye contact; which is odd as the advertising promised a warm smile every time. It was a little pretentious, but that never hurt anyone. The prices were reasonable for a restaurant quality main meal that we got - very nice in fact. They even swapped the meat for an alternative. I attended previously where they had bagels and afternoon tea etc, but this wasnt on offer which would have been nice. The staff were really nice but didnt know about the coffee when I asked. I believe the coffee was washed leading to an extremely bitter taste (best with a latte to cut through the milk) but as I had it as an Americano, was a bit too much for me. Overall a very firm 3.5, its a popular place thats provides an alternative to the bog standard coffee shop, or a boring cafe. Well done guys!
First found out about this lovely little coffee shop as my hairdresser is one of the owners. I loved it from my first visit, the tea and hot chocolate are the best in Barnsley. The other reason I love this place is that they are one of very few places that serve gluten free food and are happy to accommodate customers with an allergy. My mum is very happy to finally have somewhere that takes her allergy seriously and has amazing options for her x keep up the great work guys x
Fantastic breakfast, amazing latte's and the little one loved the babycino! Easily the best breakfast in the town centre! Will definitely be returning!
Had a breakfast here which was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and the homemade beans were very tasty. Must say the place itself was modern and upbeat which was reflected in the prices. Plenty of options here for everyone and a really good tea and coffee selection. I like the conservatory on the back of the building. A very nice touch. This place puts many others to shame. On a final note the staff were friendly and attentive, service was faster than I expected and beautifully presented food made the experience one to remember. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Thanks guys for a very pleasent visit.
